As early as 1987, Normand Roy and Doris Brodeur won the Coaticook Regional Economic Development Corporation Award for the quality of their products and the efficiency of their organization.
Since 2003, La Ferme Piscicole des Bobines has been closely involved in the development of the STRADDAQ (Strategy for the Sustainable Development of Freshwater Aquaculture in Quebec). This strategy is an agreement between the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment, Wildlife, and Parks, as well as the AAQ (Association des Aquaculteurs du Québec). The goal of the strategy was to reduce phosphorus emissions from Quebec aquaculture production by 40% over ten years.
In 2007, the company won the “Lauréat Agroalimentaire” and the “Entreprise de l'année” awards at the MRC de Coaticook Excel competition.
La Ferme Piscicole des Bobines received the “Prix de la Chambre de commerce régionale de l'Estrie” at the 2008 Gala Reconnaissance Estrie.
La Ferme Piscicole des Bobines won the Excel Award in East Hereford.
In 2008, Clément Roy was named winner of the “Financière Agricole du Québec” in the “Tournez-vous vers l'excellence” awards, which recognizes the dynamism and management skills of Quebec's next generation of farmers.
In 2011, La Ferme Piscicole received the “Coup de cœur” award in the Family Business Succession category, presented by The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Coaticook region.
CERTIFICATIONS : All our products work to promote buying locally and are certified by Ocean Wise, Aliments du Québec, and Créateurs de saveurs.
In addition, the company's processing plant is HACCP-certified by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to guarantee the proven quality of our products.
